taxi wisdom

wednesday night i went skating with jaime at bedok reservoir park. lessons was fun as usual, but i know now that this is really going to be short-lived. anyway after that we had "selegie soya beancurd" thats ironically situated at jalan kayu. the beancurd was really worth the trip. it was SO smooth. then i walked jaime home.

while i was on the cab home, i had a really interesting conversation with this taxi driver. the moment i boarded the cab, he asked "why so late going so far?" (from seletar to boon lay)

i smiled.

he continued. "so late take cab must be something to do with a girl. ah, i try to speed fast fast so that u dun have to pay midnight charge okay?"

i smiled.

conversation went on to other stuffs... and den he started linking no-link stuffs to each other. i had a laughing good time.

"so, wat u wanna do when u ORD?
i had a friend who became a bouncer at some club.
not to check age know?
these days, all they ask at the entrance is how many bottles of liquor you're planning to open. if you're rich enough u can go into any clubs.

i almost died.
