Read: how to talk to anyone.

thats my most recent read. its really funny, considering that its actually a self-help kinda book rather than a humour book. the 92 methods given in there teaching ppl how to engage, tackle, and triumph over oneself AND others in a conversation is totally COMPREHENSIVE i tell you. denise asked me why did i even bother reading such a book when i dont have a problem talking to ppl. she claims it'll cause an "overdose effect" on me and resulting in me being totally imposing in a conversation.. heh. funny. readers shld stop reading my blog for the time being and use this precious time to read something more constructive like "how to talk to anyone".

anyway, i met up with denise kok last night after TWO years of not seeing her at all due to unfateful instances. she looks good as ever, but she sounds like she's got an angmoh tongue stuck in her mouth. too much kissing, i suppose. her accent just got stronger, and she can totally pass off as a tourist from venezuela or some other european country where blonde hair and fair skin is not the reigning color. oh wells... denise rocks big time anyhow. she wears a RED specs and carries an "aesthetically pleasing-to-look-at" umbrella, probabaly bought from the capital of timbaktoo. "it has cars... broken carrots... and dolls." she's so pleased with simple (complicated) pretty things. thats denise kok for you... boy i miss her.

a few other ppl that i'm DYING to meet up with is someone who shares the same name as hepburn and tautou. but university students do not have a life, or are just plain unwillingly to share it with equally lifeless soldier-boys. haha.. nvm... given the years ahead, im sure we'll work something out, wont we? =) then there's xh, lin mei mei, and a few others like "ah huay" and "peh bong" and "thirsty hippo" and "geogy" - collectively known as AH LIANS. but these days they've been so involved with gang fights that they no longer do cultured things like eat.

while i wait for new ppl to enter my life, i might well find good joy looking for the old ppl in my life. =) of cos i would have loved to meet up with carol and candice as well, but thats so distant. =) i must try to make contact with candice! she's disappeared! hahaha...

i am going to try to use my newly acquired skills of How To Talk To Anyone to talk to these ppl.
