now is sunday morning. 9am and waiting to meet zq and cong jing for a second round of soccer. yesterday was an exciting day, such that i went to sleep soon after i reached home at night though it was only around midnight!
in the morning of saturday, the funties went to potong pasir to play street soccer. the game was at a much faster pace than usual and it was really fun. after soccering and showering in st andrew's village, leonard and i went to NUS Fass for a talk - it was part of the open house or something like that. Leonard wanted to go actually, i was only following because i am a good friend. heh.. anyway, we met up with zq at Fass. after the talk, leo, zq and me met up with rayan pang, and den we left campus together.
after that, rayan and zq and me went to play pool at the west coast recreational center and also had our nice lunch there! i really love that place! after pooling, we met up with chinyeow in the evening to catch a movie - 300 - the bloodiest movie i've ever ever ever seen. even hamburger hill which was rated R(A) for volence at that time stands no match to this.... feel-good movie. of cos, the breasts and sex in the show made it better. go watch go watch. 300: prepare for glory.
after the movie, cy, rayan, zq and i went to have live prawns at kim seng plaza! great dinner/supper again, after chomping down 4 cheesy hotdogs each during the movie earlier. haha.. after that, we went to pick up nicholas wong and his "phuture". the 6 of us had a good cramp in zq's car, but still their absolutely crass toilet jokes got the whole car shaking.
zq dropped me at bukit batok because he still had some business to settle. so i had another exciting bus trip home! on the bus, i was sitting beside this denise-lookalike chinese-angmoh girl. seeing the things i was holding (collected from throughout the day), she politely asked, "went shopping hur?" i smiled, "actually they're all presents. yea.. =)" the next thing she did was so sweet.
"oh is it your birthday? Happy birthday!" - she extended her hand within the constrained space that we have. -erm- i didnt want to explain so much and spoil the good beginning. i shifted all handles of the paper bags to the left hand and shook that smooth but firm hand of hers, "thanks."
i gave her the "DELAYED SMILE" and the "STICKY EYES". it worked like magic. How To Talk To Anyone is finally paying dividends.
her hand was really nice to hold. we had an extended handshake that lasted 6.57seconds.
