saturday was a crazy day. i cant take so many crazy days in my life, i'll die young.
early in the morning i went to college. turnout for soccer was really good, but the weather was really unforgiving. we played on and on without keeping track of time at all. by the end of which, it was a full 4 hours of soccer and i know i was under the attack of heat exhaustion. symptoms: my vision was blurred, i was sweating profusely even though my body was already cooling down, and i was feeling giddy. as if all the 4 hours of direct heat from the sun are being stored up inside my head. by lunchtime, we were all burned out - quite literally. i had a cup of strawberry banana ice-blended - and it made me happy!
after which i went to Go Sports with Leonard and MJ. We took a rather long time in the shop, and they were really having difficulty choosing which would be their new toys! at the end of the day, we each bought a pair of new skates - and it made us happy!
After skate-shopping, we decided to head straight to town where we would be meeting the funties for JacQ's birthday ra-ra. while we were in town, i saw this pair of dice that i couldnt help buying! its called crystal-dice. although they're made of stone, they're shaped like crystals! it has to be one of the coolest dice i've seen. Candice would love them. i think its a childhood thing, but beautiful dice always makes me happy!
for dinner, we went to sketches at robertson's walk again. its the only place where we can watch soccer in a nice environment and have good food at the same time. Carol joined us for dinner! (like its a "ripley's-believe-it-or-not" kind of thing these days) I really missed the girl. i'm so glad she seems very happy now. *smack! - time to move on, dumdum* Anyway, in the backdrop of things, liverpool was having a smashing good time thrashing Arse-anal. dinner was oh-too-pleasant. liverpool winning ALWAYS makes me happy!
i was supposed to meet ZQ after dinner, but the presence of Carol meant a change of plans. (SORRY ZQ! =P) we walked to raffles city and had starbucks caramel. Carol - like she always did - was licking all the whipped cream off the ice-blended before anyone got to drink it!
after everyone went home, MJ and me went to look for white castle. we put on our new pairs of skate and started night skating! i have no explanation for this, but its always me and mj doing all the extreme, ridiculous, nonsensical stuffs. at around 2am, we wanted to take a trishaw! i guess its these kinda nights that are the most memorable when we all burn, isnt it? stupid things with a good friend makes me stupidly happy!
