sprained ankle

i'm staying home today - not going to work.

i sprained my ankle really badly over vesak sports day. played soccer at "St Wilfrid sports complex" with zq, rayan, emil chau, peter crouch and nicholas-wong on thursday morning. i totally regret not taking a picture of the place, because it will so make all of you want to play there. it has artificial turf - like fico - except it has BOTH full-sized pitches and futsal 6-a-side pitches! and they cost only 37 and 27 respectively per 2-hourly! the turf is much flater than that of fico's, and its defintely a faster surface. its almost premier league quality, i promise you. it's well-chucked somewhere near bendemeer, and i guess its location is the only thing holding it back from becoming the premier soccering location. (trust my soccer buds to actually find that place, well done)

anyway i sprained my ankle after playing non stop for 2 hours. but still, i went to the PC show at suntec convention hall and i bought myself a 1GB pro duo card which, when coupled with the geeky-MJ-earpiece-thingy, would effectively make me NOT need to bring out an mp3 player to wherever i go! way to go! altho i already have the sweet-darlinglicious BOSE thingy (which alby LOVES too), i really shld go get a bluetooth headset, and plug the receiver to the geeky-MJ-earpiece-thingy. and i have a wireless headphone playing my mp3s fom my phone!! WOW. ok now THATS excessive. i could have jus bought an iPod with the money. hahaha... but it wun be as geeky then, would it? i reckon the battery from the phone would last 23 minutes if i really do all that.

so after the PC show i went to play badminton!! yes, badminton. with zq, rayan, nicholas-wong, and his NUS FASS girlfriend. it was fun, not very competitive, but we were really just helping nicholas-wong diversify his dating options. nicholas-wong is a worthy friend, i think. Fat ppl are all worthy friends. after badminton, my foot looks like a pig's trotter.
