i love to study at "denise's hangout". it has lazy lights - very gentle wash - and just at the right temperature at around 22 degrees. good food, good coffee, 70% of the seats available at any one time, power-points readily available, cushion seats, christmas atmosphere, free internet access (which is almost granted these days) and on top of those... drop in the fact that only friendly expats come here. gosh. Solitude knows no loneliness here.

Carol told me that she's fallen in love with being lonely.i think what she meant was that she's fallen in love with with solitude. [because according to ricky martin... "nobody wants to be lonely" (: ] its such a sad thing to hear from someone like Carol - the eternal butterfly. Then you see some friends BECOMING like a butterfly and you wonder if this is really what they are.

i have omitted all activities of my life from my blog for a long time now. recently, i've been meeting long-time friends (including shini - twice), and i think the next time i do something like that again they're all going to get married. growing up is scary. realising it, is even worse. i went clubbing with the mich the other day, and i realise i can already feel distant from a friend when i see one. which reminds me of something really irritating? why do people come tell me things like.... "hey i heard something about you, i cannot tell u what." its the stupidest irony of all. its as good as saying "hey your ass is itching but u dunno that it is, so please scratch it because i am feeling your itch in my ass."
