some really mind boggling maths that we might find interesting - even though we all hate maths.

how can 1 be equal to 0?

consider the term "summation from i=0 to i=infinity, of the term (-1)^i "

(for the non-maths persons, its means 1-1+1-1+1-1+1-1+1....... forever.)

grouping them in this manner,
(1-1)+(1-1)+(1-1)+(1-1)+....
= 0+0+0+0+0+0+.....
=0

grouping them in another manner yields,
1+(-1+1) + (-1+1) + (-1+1) +....
=1 + 0 + 0 + 0 + ....
=1

so now 1 = 0 ???
maths is just not meant for the human mind.
