sun day.

Today is a sun day. as it shld always be. i cant stand rainy sunday mornings when all signs of life seems to be hibernating and the rare bacteria that moves does nuttin in its true sense..."move". but today, today is different. today the sun is beautiful. today is sun is bright and the world is moving at a hastened pace as one and all prepares for the "red event" of the year. as chinese new year approaches, the streams of human bodily masses fills the spaces in malls that would otherwise have been a vacuum if not for the air. wonder where these living humans were hiding throughout the year. its like they suddenly come out of the cave and the world population just jumped overnight, onli to shrink gradually over a period of 2 weeks or so as the chinese new year slowly approaches, and then slowly passes.

anyways yesterday, saturday, was one of the best days in months i would say. although i spent an entire day engaging in CCA activities again, but this time i enjoyed it thoroughly. Orientation was fun, and rewarding, especially when some j1s actually claimed our 1-day orientation itself is more fun than the 5-days of orientaion put up by the councillors added up. i realli am beginning to hate the councillors, ok dislike them, but not all of them. for one u know i cant resist loving one of them. after the orientation, we had a hour plus of "de-briefing", and no its not the mass taking off of undergarments. its another pep talk by our dear mr lam. this time however nobody found it to be too draggy, as he seems to be hitting our note right on. constantly comparing us with the student councils and say that we shld "attain a standard whereby when we stand beside them, they'll look onli like people who carry tables and chairs". it got the whole world bursting. then he goes on to add that the teachers have been full of praises of the councils at a post-openhouse meeting. teachers all agreed that the student councils "can realli carry tables and chairs fast", and that they're the best in college at doing so! if u can even imagine my laughter then!

followed up, he mentioned about us being the elites of the school and how we got to receive much better training in outdoor and in leadership roles as compared to the councils who are merely "thrown into the sea of leadership to drown". moving on from council, we were told we can get our first "team SAJC" t-shirt soon, if we represent school in the upcoming vertical marathon, tho he claims "sizes of the shirt not guaranteed". who even bothers. This is another boost to the odac morale which is oredi sky high and yet again councils taken into account. "councils can only always be the woman behind the successful man", waving pom poms and wearing mini skirts, but nv representing the school in any way. they can dream on abt "team sajc". hahahahahahs....feeling high just at the thot of it.

something "silly". i actually called rebecca to forget what i called her for. losing grip.

and last night i had the best laugh in 3 years. a simple sentence by joel gopalan got me laughing till my sides split and my stomach cramming and my jaws falling. for all of 3 minutes non-stop. den it stopped. den a glance at leonard the "unpopular and empty headed". and it went all over again! one guy to spark the joke. one guy getting laughed at. and 5 others who laughed so hard we almost brought down harbour front food court. thanks odac'ers. onli u can bring me such unrestrained joy nowadays. love u ppl.
